We’ve all come back down to earth after Taylor Swift’s surprise engagement, but her celebrity friends are still rolling in with well-wishes for the happy couple.
ICYMI, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce announced their engagement on August 26 in a sweet rose garden photo shoot. The Instagram post immediately sent the world into a spin, racking up more than 31 million likes overnight. While Swift and Kelce kept the comments section closed, celebrities pals piled onto that ‘like’ button, with several also sharing the post to their own Instagram stories with a congratulatory message to Trav and Tay.
However, not everyone has publicly expressed their congratulations to the happy couple. Most notably, Swift’s (possibly former) bestie, Blake Lively, has yet to share her thoughts, further fuelling rumours she and Taylor are feuding over her Justin Baldoni lawsuit.
Nevertheless Taylor Swift has no shortage of celebrity friends, many of whom were effusive in their felicitations.
Celebrities React To Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Engagement
While dozens of celebs were busy hitting the like button, some went the extra mile to share Swift’s engagement post in their own words.
One such person was Swift’s collaborator and pal, Sabrina Carpenter, who is set to appear on Swift’s upcoming album, The Life Of A Showgirl. Carpenter shared Swift’s post to her IG stories, along with a string of white hearts.
Another member of Swift’s inner circle, Cara Delevingne, also shared the post along with some congratulations. Avril Lavigne did the same, and wrote:

Meanwhile another Swift collaborator, Gracie Abrams, gave Taylor a shout-out during her stadium concert in Mexico City. “I feel like we should be saying a big congratulations to Taylor, who’s not here, but everybody, just congratulations to her. I feel like she’s here with us tonight because of this song,” she said, before playing their hit ‘Us’.
Travis and Taylor’s friends and family also got in on the action, with Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, immortalising his congratulations via their podcast, New Heights. “Gigantic piece of ‘New News’ that just hit the waves,” Jason shared. “We did record this podcast on Monday, which was Travis’ one day off. So, he is not here to address this himself, but we felt it necessary as a team here at New Heights to get together and send Travis and Taylor a giant congratulations for being engaged! The proposal heard ‘round the world.”

Who Didn’t Like Taylor Swift’s Engagement Post?
To get this out of the way—just because someone didn’t like or share Taylor Swift’s engagement post, does not mean they have beef, right? It also doesn’t mean they didn’t wish her at all.
However, the main question everyone is asking on the subject is whether Blake Lively liked Taylor’s engagement post? And the answer is, no.
Neither Lively nor her husband, Ryan Reynolds, chimed in to the announcement. Some Swifties are taking this as a sign there is indeed beef between the two celebs. Rumours have been swirling that Lively and Swift had a falling out after the former allegedly roped Taylor into her legal drama with Justin Baldoni. While neither Lively nor Swift has suggested any bad blood between the two, fans noticed that Swift, who is the godmother of three of Lively’s children, hadn’t been seen together in a while.

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed fans were also looking for likes from other people who may not have been on Swift’s good side, such as Kim Kardashian and Olivia Rodrigo.
So far, none of the Kardashians have liked Swift’s engagement post, and neither have some of their close friends, like Hailey Bieber.
Rodrigo also hasn’t liked the post, but per reports, their alleged feud may no longer be brewing.
Finally, if you’re wondering whether any of Swift’s ex-boyfriends chimed in with a friendly ‘congrats’, the answer is no! Not yet, anyway. While one could expect this from exes like Joe Alwyn and Jake Gyllenhaal, perhaps a friendlier ex, like Taylor Lautner, will share the love.
